This hat is reincarnated from a fine gauge striped sweater. That subtle decorative seam on the front is original to the sweater, and the bottom edge , of course, was the bottom of the sweater. Added some twill tape loops on the top and called it my own.
The gorgeous sweater was knitted for us by our dear friend Chrissy Cornell. I admire all of you who can knit. I lack the required patience, and surely any creation I did have the dedication to finish would look like something out of a Dr. Seuss book. So I leave it to the others, and in the meantime, I will just continue to be a vulture to the knits already out there.
